ABOUT DAVID MCNEILL

With more than 30 years professional experience in event management and theatre, I have been responsible for directing and staging many high profile events and productions with great reviews and client feedback. As a theatre director (Equity, DBS and Chaperone approved) I work for national companies such as Imagine Theatre, Qdos Entertainment, ATG and Paul Holman Ass. to direct musicals and pantomimes. Recent productions include Cats, West Side Story, Footloose, Grease and 19 professional pantos! My career began as a window dresser for \'Binns\'​ before being head hunted by Laura Ashley. I then became national window designer for The Edinburgh Woollen Mill group I staged major fashions events throughout the UK. I joined CN Group in 1990 with responsibility for all in paper/on line promotions/competitions within their portfolio. Activities won national awards representing the company at numerous high profile events including a Royal garden party! The role included outside events and I was soon asked to take over the Events Department. This included twice staging major concerts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, launching numerous awards, exhibitions and even a steam train event. I rebranded the department as a stand alone section working with many clients on commercial ventures. Theatre began to offer more opportunities and it was soon time to \'go it alone\' so developed StagedRight Productions I have devised, launched & hosted numerous award evenings and events and regularly work for clients such as The Jockey Club, Stobart Group and Story Homes. I am comfortable in front of a microphone or TV camera and have directed TV commercials and client videos I love new challenges, am open to fresh ideas and love turning an idea into reality!
