As the Procurement Leader for DLA Piper US and its member firms, I am responsible for all indirect spend categories and for establishing and upholding procurement policies and procedures that ensure cost-effective acquisition of all materials and services. Working within the Office of General Counsel, my role encompasses ensuring quality control, risk management, and compliance with the firm\'s policies and procedures.I oversee the daily procurement operations, managing a team of 13 professionals. Together, we handle over $450 million in addressable firm indirect spend, ensuring the transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of our procurement processes.Our efforts focus on cost savings, risk management, contract management governance, and vendor performance to ensure that all partners, lawyers, and staff receive the services, products, and resources they need to maintain a competitive advantage.
