David Massimo leads the Data Science & Analysis team at Alpitronic. David and his team are committed to shape a sustainable, electric future by understanding how to harness data to lead the way in the global transition to e-mobility.Before joining Alpitronic, David led the Advanced Analytics & AI team at Public Value Technologies, where we devised AI strategies and products to simplify decision-making for stakeholders in the ARD group within complex regulatory environments.David transitioned to the corporate sector from academia. He earned his PhD in Computer Science with distinction from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, specializing in Recommender Systems and Human Behavior Modeling. His research has been recognized with best papers from ACM and the IFITT federation and published at top-tier international conferences like ACM RecSys, IUI, and UMAP.What drives David\'s R&D activity is seeing theoretical innovation solve real-world problems. At Alpitronic, David continue this mission with his team, by bridging the gap between advanced data science and practical world-changing applications.
