Sonic Inspection Corporation uses both guided wrap wave ultrasonics and conventional ultrasonics to identify and locate Corrosion/Obstruction/wall thinning and /or MIC in the system. Guided Wrap Wave Ultrasonic technology is used to detect the presence of corrosion and foreign objects, such as, tubercles attached to the inside pipe wall. MIC is an industry term that stands for Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion. Whether the cause is ordinary corrosion or MIC, our patented technology and methodology can assess the pipe much more rapidly and accurately than any other technique currently available. Ultrasound is safe to use, therefore their are no hazardous radiation or other safety concerns. Sonic Inspection\'s patented technology provides a quantitative approach to accessing the current condition of a fire sprinkler system without opening up the system.
