In addition to my in depth experience with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Asset Controls Regulations (OFAC), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Customs Regulations and foreign trade and anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws and regulations, I’ve had the unique privilege of leading my team through numerous events such as-Corporate restructuring and name changes-Audits, investigations and disclosures-Export control reform-International growth; and -USG outreach visits. With over 20 years of leadership experience at every level including building and maintaining a professional compliance team which has established a successful compliance culture across the enterprise. I follow the servant leader approach which gives me the ability to genuinely build relationships with my team and this allows me to really understand their strengths and development opportunity areas to build and develop a sustainable team. I have found my approach to leadership successful regardless of whether I am leading in person, remotely or leading team members who have a matrix reporting structure. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to experience a broad spectrum of what this career has to offer. I have a passion for learning and continuous development and truly love leading other highly motivated and passionate compliance professionals.
