ABOUT DAVID MARIN GONZALEZ
Some people ask me; Why International Business? It always caught my eye how a raw cheap material became a finished expensive product just by adding more value to it and understanding the culture and rules of the country it was marketed. That idea of adding value just by my own ideas and knowledge made me being interested in any kind of business despite the country or culture related to it. But where did those ideas and knowledge came from? Six years ago I received an scholarship to play football at California Polytechnic at Pomona. Thanks to my International Career and Studies I started to have a more broad picture of cultures, countries, religions, politics and every factor that is related to International Business. As a result of that and my work experience, I am able to understand business processes thanks to the planning, managerial and negotiation skills I learnt these years. International business is my passion and what I have been focusing on for the last 5 years, I graduated in International Business with a minor in Agriculture from California Polytechnic at Pomona and earned a Master’s degree in International Business in National University at San Diego. I am the Cofounder of Smart and Nasos LLC, a consulting and FBA product sales company that helps Businesses to get integrated into Amazon Marketplace and expand their sales internationally. At the same time I was the Operations Manager and International Project Manager of Sol Beauty and Care in San Diego, California from 20••••22. My Mission: Proving a big success nationally can make business owners hungry to expand further and while approaching the international market is something many businesses have the capacity for, it is important to look at factors that influence the success of trying to \"go global\" too soon. The strategies and practices that were a huge success at home may not suit customers in a different country or countries, and therefore my mission is advice and prepare business owners to tackle any differences head-on before launching on a global scale, while keeping thriving locally. My vision is to make any business reach its fullest potential internationally beginning with a solid local framework that will the base for the international success. I grew up watching my family compete with International Companies in the Agg sector and the result was always the same, the International company was able to offer a cheaper product with same functions of my family\'s products, why? Because they knew how to reach economies of scale thanks to International experience.
