ASSESSING FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS AND BUSINESS PLANS• We often assist management and owners seeking to raise capital by analyzing their financial projections and strategic plans, challenging assumptions, summarizing key elements, and preparing a presentation or report to lenders/investors. Our independent review of the projections and business plans often provides lenders/investors with the comfort needed to close the transaction.BUILDING FINANCIAL MODELS • Certain companies may not have a financial model that meets the expectations of a lender or investor. We work with management to build integrated 3 statement financial models, which often include dashboards and sensitivity analyses.ASSISTING WITH RAISING CAPITAL• Once the financial presentation/report is completed, we will meet with potential lenders/investors along with management to present the plan and financial forecast. • We assess the term sheets received and assist management in selecting the most advantageous offer.CONDUCTING COURT-DRIVEN RESTRUCTURING PROCESSES• When required, we run formal court-driven restructuring proceedings to restructure the company’s balance sheet and potentially exit unprofitable contracts and leases.SELLING BUSINESS ASSETS• We often run sales processes for assets, subsidiaries, or the entire company. We canvass the market to maximize value for stakeholders. These processes often form part of a court-driven proceeding.• In distress M&A situations, we can often work quickly to conduct a robust sales process and have the sale approved by the court.RESTRUCTURING PLAN• We work with management to reorganize the company’s cost structure and assist in developing its business strategy.MANAGING LIQUIDITY ISSUES• We prepare short-term cash flow forecasts to help manage short-term liquidity needs.• We determine optimal working capital requirements based on industry benchmarks and historical performance.
