   Assess architectural requirements for new projects and significant enhancements to IS infrastructure and applications. Provide input and assistance to IS teams to support the success of IT projects. Work with development teams to map applications and technologies to operating platforms. Build and maintain an overall map of applications and platforms used across KHN. Create and maintain a version control system for applications and platforms to keep the overall map up-to-date. Analyze the design and integration of existing systems in the architecture roadmap and advise management of changes that will improve system reliability, availability, extendibility, functionality, and performance. Monitor industry trends and research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies that may meet current and future business requirements. Lead the definition and design of the application and infrastructure solutions with IS leadership and project teams. Gather business requirements, key drivers, objectives, functions, features, and technical specifications to build solutions that meet client needs. Lead the deployment of network-wide applications and platforms in collaboration with requesting departments, IS team members, and outside vendors as assigned. Develop time, cost, and resource estimates for completing assigned projects. Recommend team members for projects based on their capabilities and experience. Establish and maintain hardware, software, emergency recovery, system backup, security, and other architecture standards based on industry best practices and overall IT strategies. Train and coach IT team members on the application architecture and framework standards, implementation procedures, and best practices. Work directly with IS leadership to forecast, plan and develop architectural frameworks. Actively track the progress of current initiatives against plan to verify timely completion of project deliverables to clients.
