David Loving is a veteran broadcast executive with more than three decades of experience leading growth, building brands, and developing high-performing teams across Texas. He currently serves as President and General Manager of KHOU 11, the CBS affiliate in Houston, where he oversees all aspects of the station’s broadcast, digital, and streaming operations.With 25 years in Texas broadcasting—and nearly 11 years as a Houston General Manager—David brings deep market insight, credibility, and long-standing relationships to the role. His extensive connections at the President and CEO level across industries have strengthened community partnerships and opened new revenue channels that deliver meaningful results for clients and the station alike.David has led two of Houston’s major television stations through some of the city’s most defining moments — guiding Univision Houston’s wall-to-wall coverage during Hurricane Harvey and later leading KHOU 11 through continuous coverage during Hurricane Beryl. His calm, decisive leadership during crises reinforced both stations’ reputations as trusted community voices when Houston needed them most.A forward-thinking and revenue-focused leader, David embraces innovation and new technologies — including artificial intelligence and data-driven tools — to enhance storytelling, streamline operations, and improve sales performance.A proud Texas A&M graduate, David has served on numerous boards, including the Texas Association of Broadcasters, the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the U.S-Mexico Gulf Coast Chamber, and Avance.
