   Spearhead all structural packaging aspects, including BOM creation, 3D modeling, and dieline creation, for 6 major brands (Disney Cars, Matchbox, DinoTrux, Fast and Furious, Tyco RC and new opportunities) comprised of 400 skus/year and $580MM in wholesale sales volume.• Oversee all packaging engineering development for Mattel Toy Box division, including leadership over 5 packaging engineers, 24 brands and ~$3.4B in retail sales.• Run the engineering internship program for all Mattel Brands, securing 2 new full time hires per year.• Train and mentor all new hires and interns.• Primary engineer for 2 task forces in 2015 totaling $16MM in packaging savings for Girls brands and Action Figures.• Engineering support for Fashion Doll packaging size/structure alignment between Barbie, Disney Princess, Monster High and Ever After High.• Represent packaging team for Hong Kong onsite approvals.• Member of Mattel’s Global Packaging Governance Council.• Lead engineer for PVC to PET conversion project.• Planogram early development/layout to ensure best use of shelf space for multiple categories and retail teams.• Responsible for all communication through MOA sourcing team and Mattel owned plants.• Work closely with each team during design process to ensure proper product fitment, price value, overall look, cost, planogram fitment, and marketing approval.• Drive final package approvals at pre-production stage, including checking print colors, coatings, labels, embossing, foil stamps, material usage, product supporting straps/blisters, tape usage, folding, die lines, etc.
