   Lead all aspects of Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Shipping of Food & Beverage heavy equipment. We developed and deployed the Marlen Operating System which delivered:• Improved Safety rate from over 3 to 0.• Reinvigorated a solid but stagnant 5S program.• Value Stream Mapped four of our five major manufacturing Value Streams. This resulted in reduced lead times by 20 percent.• Increased Operator Utilization by 7 bps. • Implemented a SIOP process to level load our schedule based on two major constraints. This was the first year that the plant was fully absorbed which significantly impacted our plant P&L.This allowed us to deliver projects at the back half of the year which we would not have been able to deliver. This impacted revenue and EBITDA.• Optimized on-hand raw material and finished goods inventories which improved our parts sales ship rate by 14 bps.• Drove the development of a Problem Solving culture by training 8D and Process Problem Solving, reinvigorating a stagnant MRB process, and initiating weekly Warranty reduction meetings. • Implemented a risk-based incoming quality inspection process which reduced the number of purchased part SKU’s going through the Quality Inspection Department by 89% and improving incoming product quality by 0.7 bps.• Upskilled Front Line Supervisors by delivering inhouse Front Line Supervisor, Professional Communication, Professional Conduct, and Conflict Resolution training.• Completed 80 Kaizens last year. • Insourced one of our largest manufactured lines which resulted in a significant margin improvement.
