For over 38 years, David has practiced at the forefront of Family Law having been a Partner with Sears Tooth, Mishcon de Reya, Rayden’s and is now a senior partner at the central London firm Vardags.During his career, David pioneered the use of litigation funding (deeds of assignment), third-party disclosure as well as having conduct (at the time) of the largest court determined matrimonial settlement (£54 million) which required proceedings in six jurisdictions. David has an interest in non-disclosure and enforcement issues as well as nuptial and cohabitation agreements. David featured as Lawyer of the Week in \'The Times\' in October 2024 and was a guest on \'A Lawyer Talks\' podcast hosted by Joshua Rozenberg.David is an occasional lecturer to other professionals, The Manchester Law School, The French Bar as well as on two occasions before the IAFL (in Reykjavík and Buenos Aires).David was a Governor of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL), a Trustee of the People’s Dispensary For Sick Animals (PDSA), a Founder of City Saddles (London based networking group) and was a Development Board Member of the The Brooke Charity. David is a Freeman of the City of London.
