About David Linton

I am a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with over 30 years of experience leading high-performing teams and managing complex logistics operations. During my military career, I served as squadron commander for two of the Air Force’s most distinguished units: the U.S. Special Operations Command’s Deployment Cell and the 436th Aerial Port Squadron (\"The Super Port\") at Dover AFB, Delaware. These roles provided me with a strong foundation in logistics, operations, and strategic leadership, which I applied to support our nation’s most critical missions. After retiring from the Air Force, I transitioned to entrepreneurship, purchasing a franchise in junk removal. While the venture didn’t ultimately pan out as I hoped, it taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, innovation, and fostering a strong business culture. I remain proud of the opportunity to create job opportunities for veterans and their families.Today, I serve as the Defense Logistics Agency-Energy Liaison to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), where I leverage my extensive logistics expertise to support USSOCOM’s global mission. I am passionate about solving logistical challenges, building impactful partnerships, and ensuring mission success for our service members.Whether in uniform or out, my commitment to excellence, service, and teamwork remains at the heart of everything I do. I look forward to connecting with professionals who share my passion for leadership, logistics, and national defense.
