Participating on the Executive Job Action Team and assisting on the Provincial Job Action Committee to ensure planning, education and clear communication for the members of BCNU in preparation of a strike or lockout. Recommended a process of timely exchange of information that has led to grievance resolves within a month of being referred, as well as reducing third party cancellation fees, as the Union Chair Representative at the British Columbia Healthcare Office of Arbitration (BCHOA). Project lead for policy revisions, updating contract interpretations resources from precedent setting awards and joint agreements, creating and implementing an electronic grievance file management system, approving education and training of LR related materials, and creation and organization of servicing templates, completed by collaborating with other departments and setting and achieving goals (KPI) within budget and on time. Presenting education on contract interpretation, policy changes, case law and arbitral jurisprudence to direct reports, elected officials, stewards, and members at regional meetings members with clear and understandable messaging.
