David Linford-Smith MSc MBACP GMBPsS• BACP registered Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor• EMCC senior-accredited Coach, & accredited Coaching Supervisor• Pastoral Supervision for people working in a religious or spiritual setting As a Level 7 qualified, BACP registered Psychotherapist, I use Relational Transactional Analysis as my primary theoretical approach - I also integrate elements of existentialism, brainspotting, mindfulness, biological psychology and spirituality into my practice. I have an MSc in Psychology, graduate membership of the British Psychological Society, and specialise in psychological trauma, working with a trauma-informed approach. I am an EMCC Senior Accredited Coach working with high-performing business leaders, policymakers, and serial entrepreneurs who are willing to lean into their edge and discover a deeper potential. With a background in health and wellness, and an award-winning media professional with over 25 years of experience, I specialise in coaching highly talented individuals in the creative and healthcare industries.As a qualified clinical and coaching supervisor, I support practitioners in their professional and ethical development, individually and in group supervision. I provide supervision for therapists, coaches, and mentors. I also provide external supervision for people working in the help professions, as well as pastoral supervision for those working in a religious or spiritual setting. I am a member of the Association for Pastoral Supervision & Education (APSE).I previously worked as a film editor and graphic designer at the BBC and was a qualified rescue worker and training officer with the International Rescue Corps. My practice is LGBTQ+ inclusive. I am committed to working with people whose native language is not English. My practice is disability-friendly, as well as neurodiversity-informed.
