Leading development of the Commercial Intelligence & Benchmarking function with in the Turner & Townsend Infrastructure business. Primary responsibilities for this role included- Setting and delivering the Commercial Intelligence & Benchmarking function, in partnership with the wider cost estimating function strategy to support the achievement of Cost Intelligence & Benchmarking and Estimating Team objectives- Working with the T&T Digital team to transform the tools that underpin the Cost Intelligence and Benchmarking services using the internal HIVE- Growing our cost intelligence capability through building and maintaining a strong Commercial Intelligence & Benchmarking network and community of practice - Data mining or extracting usable data from data sources as well as processing, cleansing, and validating its integrity- Communicating developments within the knowledge, data and information management discipline- Acting as an ambassador for the Commercial Intelligence & Benchmarking capability for both internal customers and external clients- Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing our data toolsetAs well as these primary responsibilities, David was also responsible for leading task commissions for clients in the power transmission, rail and defence infrastructure sectors. These commissions required building a rapport with the client, establishing the requirements and delivering high-quality Commercial Intelligence & Benchmarking outputs.
