I started work and trained with regional building contractors and have progressed from there to work for developers, programme and project management companies, civil engineering contractors and consultants, mechanical engineering contractors, large and small contractors, PM/QS practices and several north west local authorities. In so doing I have gained a wide and varied experience using a range of standard and bespoke contract forms. Amongst the many projects I have been involved in over the last 30 years are schools, hospitals, process / chemical / petrochemical engineering, water and electrical infrastructure, roads, rail property, retail development, leisure, hotel, commercial, Police stations, social and private housing and pharmaceutical. projects. These have ranged from low value fast and frantic multiple retail fit outs to billion pound multi-phased re-development programmes. Specialties: commercial management of construction projects
