With over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver excellence in safety, quality, and productivity. I have a strong background in engineering and maintenance, and a proven track record of implementing process improvement initiatives that reduce costs and increase efficiency. Currently, I am the General Manager at WestRock Company, one of the leading providers of paper and packaging solutions in the world.As the General Manager, I am responsible for the safety, cultural development, P&L, and plant KPIs of the Battle Creek Box on Demand facility. I lead a team of 63 members in the daily operations of the plant, ensuring that we meet and exceed customer expectations and industry standards. I have successfully reduced recordable injuries and lost time incidents to zero, improved team engagement, and developed my leadership team. I have also led the plant to win the 2023 most improved safety plant of the year award. Some of the skills that I use in my role are manufacturing process improvement, manufacturing operations, and project planning.
