Centene is the nation’s largest Medicaid managed care organization and the nation’s top insurer in the Health Insurance Marketplace. Mr. Lavely has served as a Centene specialty product CEO since 2009. He has full strategic planning and P&L management responsibility for Centene Dental and Vision which, under his leadership, has grown to serve more than 17 million members while remaining committed to Centene’s core philosophy that quality healthcare is best delivered locally.Mr. Lavely has formal training in insurance, investments, healthcare, informatics, and government policy strategy.
