Driving the data acquisition strategy across Experian’s CAIS (Credit Account Information Sharing) data asset.CAIS is a membership driven data sharing network that collects and distributes credit data on Consumer accounts. Consumer CAIS offers around 550 million credit accounts per month making CAIS one of the largest sources of UK consumer credit commitments. All major financial institutions and creditors engaged in commercial lending activities will share details of their customers\' credit commitments and how they’re performing within them. In return, you get access to the equivalent data from banks, lenders, insurers and utility and telecoms companies – virtually every major lending organisation in the UK.The Rental ExchangeThe Rental Exchange to help tackle the challenges faced by rental tenants in the UK. Our initiative aims to tackle the financial, digital and even social exclusion challenges that rental tenants often face compared to homeowners. By observing rental payment data in the same way that we view mortgage payment data, we can unlock a range of benefits for tenants, housing providers and credit providers.The Rental Exchange will incorporate a tenant’s payment history in their credit file with no cost to either the housing provider or tenant.
