About David Peterson

I have a broad range of experience in the military, legal, and political fields. I’ve represented Soldiers in all manner of administrative and criminal procedures, served as an associate professor in Contract and Fiscal law at the only accredited law school in the Department of Defense, and served over 25 years as both an enlisted Soldier and commissioned Officer holding ranks from Private First Class to Lieutenant Colonel. I’ve sought to marry my military and legal experience with my second career as a lobbyist and government relations consultant representing all manner of for profit and nonprofit companies and organizations. My area of expertise, however, has found its way to affordable/attainable housing and infrastructure to include water rights. We work with real estate developers and help them navigate their way through local city planning commissions, historic landmark commissions, transportation commissions and boundary commissions at the county level in order to secure entitlements for real estate projects.I’m always advocating for Veterans and Service members and take every opportunity to educate my fellow veterans on VA benefits. I also work with service organization and legislators to expand benefits to those still in uniform.
