ABOUT DAVID L. MILLER

David L. Miller is a seasoned entrepreneur, executive, and public servant with a distinguished career spanning infrastructure, telecommunications, and technology sectors. Currently, David serves as the Managing Director of the Hub Fuel Fund and Executive in Residence at Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business. In these roles, he is dedicated to growing the regional innovation ecosystem and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Some of David’s role’s include: serving as the CEO of PaveTex Engineering, where he led the largest native infrastructure construction engineering and testing firm in Texas through its acquisition by Atlas Technical Consultants;(Nasdaq: ATCX). Following the acquisition, he served as Chief Strategy Officer for Atlas, driving organizational growth through strategic M&A; serving as a founding member of ALAMOSA, a major telecommunications carrier that was successfully acquired for $4.3 billion; and serving as a founder of 2XC1 Holdings, an active investor in the infrastructure sector. A multiple-time appointee by the Governor of Texas, David has held several high-level leadership positions for the state which include: Chair of the Texas Charter School Finance Authority (Current); and Presiding Officer, Texas Emerging Technology Fund (Former). David led as a Vice Chancellor for Research and Commercialization for the Texas Tech University System. David is a United States Army Veteran and a soon-to-be published author. He holds both a Juris Doctor (JD) and MBA fromTexas Tech University.
