About David Kohanbash

I have designed, built, tested and led teams to develop robots for space, subterranean, underwater, above-water, flying, agriculture, mining, defense, agriculture, pipe inspection, search and rescue, nuclear, manufacturing, recycling, medical self driving vehicles, and more. I specialize in system design and communicating technical content to everyone. I develop system requirements, system architectures, low level software, embedded systems, communication systems, electronics, electrical systems, motor controls, sensors and more. I regularly work with and lead teams with mechanical engineers, advanced computer science (Artificial Intelligence (AI,) Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV), navigation, planning, etc.), and domain subject matter experts.I firmly believe robots needs to be tested in as accurate a setting as possible and we should not \"cheat\" by faking the environment or only testing in simulation.
