In addition to providing support and guidance for our development environment and infrastructure release pipelines, I\'ve been working as the lead engineer in Wayve\'s effort to adopt generative programming. My focus in this area has heavily been on security, observability, and controllability. I\'ve been developing agentic systems, giving talks in front of hundreds of people on best practices and informing them of our efforts, and have researched and implemented administrative tooling to enable our needs around governance.

ABOUT DAVID KIRK
I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of Durham in the UK. I enjoy long walks on the beach supplemented by large quantities of sunscreen, not living in the basement of my mom\'s house, and I recently built a pretty sweet tree fort. I spent a good part of the past few years building basically the entire infrastructure NTWRK runs on, the better part building tools to help people make sophisticated rocks drive cars at Wayve, and the best part as my mother\'s son. I am closing in on the nine year anniversary of moving out of my mom\'s house, and hope to one day rest my eyes upon the UK\'s largest Tesco. I am happy to report that I am legally considered by the UK government to be a \"skilled worker,\" so next time you\'ve got doubts, I encourage you to dispense of them post-haste.
