WORK HISTORY
Research Assistant @Unc School Of Medicine
Chapel Hill, NC, US
I am investigating the neurophysiological mechanisms behind seizure susceptibility in Angelman Syndrome. Currently working around 11-12 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours a week over the summer in the Philpot Lab, and actively gaining experience in histology techniques while becoming more knowledgeable about Angelman Syndrome and other similar neurodevelopmental disorders(Dup15q and Pitt-Hopkins). My goal in the lab is to make a meaningful impact working towards an eventual therapeutic that betters the lives of individuals with Angelman Syndrome.
