ABOUT DAVID KINGSTON
I work primarily in accounting and assurance managing various assurance engagements in Edmonton and the surrounding area in a wide range of industries including: aviation, finance, oil and gas sales and support, medical practices, trucking, and recreational vehicle sales and service. I have experience in the areas of personal and corporate tax planning, compliance, and tax advisory services provided directly to clients, or indirectly through an intermediary such as legal advisors, other accountants, or to partners and managers within our firm. Some of my projects have included corporate reorganizations, notice of objections to CRA assessments, transaction planning and estimation of taxes payable, cash flow planning, salary versus dividend analyses, and advice relating to tax consequences of personal and corporate transactions. Specialties: I am conversationally fluent in French and am currently working to develop my technical language proficiency. I have prepared audited French financial statements for a government agency and have provided accounting and tax advisory services to clients in Quebec and France.
