I am a versatile decision-maker who loves learning new skills. I pick up new things well and have a proven track record of going above and beyond. 20••••19 saw me living and working in Montreal transitioning from the video game to the software industry. I gained had vast exposure in the video game industry\'s compliance, compatibility, functionality & V.R, fields. I am always drawn towards challenges and as such, my move to Lightspeed found myself in the high-pressure Payments team while assisting in the creation of our very own PayFac! Following this, we even went IPO as a payments and technology company!What the industry has helped me learn about myself is that I have a great understanding of the development processes, risk assessment and am able to get things done on a deadline. This, along with my personal need to fully understand why \"something\" happens has helped me shine in a QA setting. At Lightspeed I was responsible for a large number of supported payment providers, across multiple integrations, implementation of manual and automated testing strategies from conception, being a \'go-to person\' for all things payments, all the while educating and raising up others around me to understand the complexities of such a service.Since returning to the UK I spent some great time at FanDuel as a fully embedded tester in fast-moving teams, working hard to migrate away from 3rd party software to a fully owned 1st party Sportsbook experience in all US states as they legalise sports betting.Most recently i have been committed to helping Gophr scale,get new products out(the right way) to our loyal customers and ensure we remain a courier first platform while competing against the multi nationals.
