David Kerrick is an experienced attorney in private civil practice with an emphasis on Wills, Estates, Trusts, Real Property, Business, Litigation, and Dispute Resolution. He earned his B.A. degree from the College of Idaho and the University of Washington, and his J.D. degree from the University of Idaho. Admitted to practice in 1980, he is past president of the Third District Bar (19••••86); past president of the Canyon County Lawyers (1985); a recipient of the Idaho State Bar Outstanding Service Award (1985 & 1994); a recipient of the Idaho State Bar Professionalism Award (2009); a former commissioner and past president of the Idaho State Bar (20••••20); and a member of the Southwest Idaho Estate Planning Council. He served six years in the Idaho State Senate, including a term as Majority Leader (19••••96) Since 2021 he is also an adjunct professor in the Business & Accounting Department at the College of Idaho.
