David Kass

About David Kass

Dave serves as DHDAA’s AVP of Advancement Operations. His portfolio includes human resources, talent management, finance, and prospect development. Dave graduated from Bentley University in 1986 with a B.S. in management and a concentration in computer science. His start within the advancement/development industry began at Business Systems Resources (now Ellucian) in 1990 where his customers included Ball State University, Texas Tech University, University of Florida, Duke University, University of Michigan and the University of Central Florida. He relocated from New England to North Carolina in 1996 after accepting a position within the Alumni and Development Systems Office at Duke University. He joined Carolina in October, 2008 where he served as the Chief Operating Officer until returning to Duke in December 2021.
