During the 1970s, company leaders observed a growing need for affordable training systems for AMT schools. In that time, many schools were using military surplus and homemade training aids. Avotek stepped up to the plate, and by the late 1970s, the company was developing and manufacturing modern, fully functional training systems. Since 2001, we have added our aviation maintenance textbooks to our line of training products. Avotek continues to design and update our extensive inventory of trainers and textbooks every year.
