With more than 15 years of experience ensuring information security within technology-driven organizations, I have a demonstrated track record of developing strategies and processes to successfully respond to external threats to save significant costs, rapidly rectifying data breaches, leading organizations through times of crisis and rapid change, and supporting capital raising as well as M&A activity.As Head of Security Operations, I implemented security controls, processes and procedures to respond to ransomware attacks within 14 minutes and successfully addressed 7 ransomware attacks, averting potential losses of up to $50M. In this role, I also addressed and remedied a significant security breach within just 2 weeks (versus the broader industry average response time of 240 days).As Sr. Director of Security Solutions and Architecture, I transitioned our entire workforce from on-premise to a secure remote model within just 4 days in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling 85K global employees to safely work from home without increasing the risk to the company.And as Director of Infrastructure Security, I played a key role in the company’s $630M initial public offering (IPO) and ensured best security practices during all M&A activity / post-merger integrations.
