ABOUT DAVID JOHNSON
I am an Award-winning film-maker, working predominantly in specialist factual genres, although my work also covers factual formats and observational documentaries. With 30 years experience as a Producer/Director, Series Producer and Series Director I bring experience of a variety of approaches to story-telling to every project I work on. I can self-shoot and have experience of working with the latest filming technology. I have particular experience in the field of natural history film-making, both presenter-led and blue-chip work. I am especially adept at constructing strong, emotionally enthralling narrative films and I can be relied on to produce content in the remotest of locations (e.g. Antarctica) and in the most difficult of circumstances (e.g. southern Iraq, or DRC).
