About David Johns
I have been passionate about teaching and technology for over 30 years. Although I started teaching for the love of coaching youth sports, I now cherish the time coaching my daughters and focusing much of my time on finding ways to teach math and programming in a manner that many can understand. Taking what I have learned developing curricula for 5th through 12th grades in programming, computer applications, and mathematics courses at three different top private schools, I created a website full of math puzzles, math projects, and my large collection of instruction videos As a consultant, I helped develop MathChat, an educational technology that helped students and teachers connect online for assistance.
