Achieved recognition as “Military Instructor of the Year” at the Marine Corps University.ORGANIZATION TRANSFORMATION: Elevated performance and effectiveness of the 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune and early in my career transformed a Marine Corps Recruiting Station from the lowest to the highest performing, garnering recognition as the most improved nationally.PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION: Took over the 2nd Marine Division and significantly elevated the operational readiness to the highest levels within 18 months, receiving the highest grade on a 2020 Inspection by the Inspector General of the Marine Corps. STRATEGIC VISION AND INNOVATION: Conceived and executed the Marine Corps largest force-on-force training exercise in 40+ years, flawlessly deploying troops and principal items from North Carolina to California. I spearheaded the “Post-Traumatic Winning,” counseling program, that contributed to a 66% reduction in suicides and attempts.MULTINATIONAL COALITION BUILDING: Built trusting partnerships and developed professionalism within troops and leadership in Iraq, Afghanistan and East Africa.GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: Represented the Marine Corps before the United States Congress including negotiating $4B in additional Marine Corps funding.GLOBAL BRAND CHAMPION: Served as a Marine Corps “ambassador” globally with foreign government, civilian communities, Congress, academia and worldwide media.
