Delivered automation solutions for two industrial spray printing machines: one using a proprietary PLCsystem programmed indirectly via HMI, and the other a fully custom BeagleBone Black platform. Reverse-engineered undocumented PLC behavior by configuring HMI register maps and controlflows, enabling reliable motion control without direct PLC access. Designed and implemented the embedded system’s firmware using C++(daemon) and PRU-based C,integrating shared memory, Modbus TCP, and low-latency GPIO signaling for real-time actuatorcontrol. Built and tested a complete control panel using DIN rail architecture, with 24V DC powerdistribution, optocoupler-isolated I/O, E-Stop, and limit switches supporting 3.3V logic signaling. Created modular schematics in QElectroTech, applying IEC-compliant wire labeling (e.g, PE, 0V,+24V) and separating power, safety, UI, and motion logic across multiple sheets. Integrated and tuned DM542T stepper drivers, NEMA 17 stepper motors, and a 7\" touchscreenHMI, validating system performance, acceleration profiles, and emergency response times. Delivered comprehensive engineering documentation, including the BOM, signal flow diagrams, andModbus register maps, supporting maintainability and future expansion.
