Compassionate leader with expertise in developing programs, overcoming crisis and helping others achieve their goals. From developing multimillion-dollar solicitations to managing a complex Civil Engineer training program, my focus is on leaving things better than I find them. The desire to solve problems has resulted in experiencing a wide array of functions, to include program management, logistics and operations. One of my biggest success stories included creating the unit career advisor program from scratch, followed by winning unit career advisor of the year the following year.Whether it is serving as a victim’s advocate for sexual assault survivors, unit career advisor or youth soccer coach; helping others is a driving force in my life. I desire to make the world a better place not just domestically but globally as well. Travel to seventeen different countries has led to an appreciation of other cultures and allowed me to grow outside of my comfort zone. These travels have created a passion to experience cultures outside of my own and a desire to visit global areas I have yet to see.While I have made mistakes, been overwhelmed and scared at times; it has been amazing ride. I do not know where the future will lead, but I hope it is challenging, full of adventure and brimming with opportunities to improve the lives of others.
