About David Hughes

David joined the agency in 1992 as a commercial insurance producer building his personal book of business and helping the agency grow through organic growth and agency acquisitions, David took over as President in 2001. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989, he started his insurance career with the Aetna Insurance Company as a Commercial Underwriter. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and Certified Worker’s Compensation Advisor (CWCA) designations. His focus is to manage the continued growth of the agency. He is the past president of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the Community Foundation of Fayette County, member of the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette County Board of Directors, served on the Board of the Keystone Insurer’s Group, served on the Salvation Army Advisory Board, past president and member of the Uniontown Country Club, served on the Harleysville Insurance Company Advisory Board, the Merchant’s Insurance Group Advisory Board, the Penn National Insurance Company Advisory Board, member of the Synergy Comp Insurance Company Board of Directors, member of the Communities of Schools of Southwest PA Board of Directors, member and past president of the Uniontown Rotary Club, member of the Isaac Walton League, and served as a member of the City Mission Board of Directors.
