ABOUT DAVID HUGHES
I work with knowledge intensive product and services businesses to develop and implement market growth and entry strategies. I have led business management, product management and services delivery in both international and UK markets and am experienced in developing and delivering sustainable successful market positions for knowledge and technology companies. I have a broad engineering and management background in all stages of activity from inception and change through to implementation and development of services, products, people and assets. I have held operational and P&L responsibility for >£12M and 120 specialist scientists, engineers and technologists, have built products and services from concept to roll out and delivery and have built and led teams across geographies and disciplines. My particular area of interest is defining and developing knowledge based services that are innovative and secure effective and sustainable customer relationships. I seek to achieve this though defining and driving value into the customers business and then structuring and developing capability within my business to deliver those services. I have a keen interest in, and a strong record of developing 3rd party relationships that enable new and effective combinations of skills and capability and I particularly enjoy working with teams and customers. I am actively seeking new challenges.
