Chief copy editor for Eastmans Hunting Magazine and Eastmans Bowhunting Magazine, several published hardcover books. Wrote their style guide and wrote as many as 50 published pages a year for the magazines. In 2013 I was put in charge of expanding, modernizing, and improving the Members Research Section, an extensive part of the magazines, as much as 40% of the magazines\' content in some months. Later I was put in charge of all data and its processing for TagHub, an online research tool that listed every male and either sex hunt for big game in 11 western states and provided a comprehensive, filterable, and searchable research tool that consolidated all relevant public and proprietary information on each hunt. When I retired from that role in 2023 I trained one full-time and one part-time employee to take the place of what I had done part-time the previous 10 years. From 2013 to 2021 I also produced all the maps published in the magazines as well as most of the charts. I gained very extensive experience using Excel and mapping applications. I no longer head up the research or act as copy editor for the magazines but I am still the senior copy editor for the Mule Deer Foundation quarterly magazine that is produced by Eastmans Publishing.
