Stirling Council has recently reviewed its strategic priorities and given Sustainable Development much more prominence. I now head up a new team tasked to lift Stirling Council\'s environmental practices to a much higher level.Stirling has so much potential to become a very special place. Its beauty, history, transport links, its talented people, all act as ingredients to develop a place where people and businesses want to come to and stay, and be proud of.I\'m born and bred in Balquhidder and care passionately about this area. I really believe that Stirling can become an exemplar for Scotland and the UK in being the greenest and most liveable/lovable place.I am a registered practitioner of PRINCE 2I tend to take a very systematic/pragmatic approach to challenges and have implemented and achieved certification for ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 within the Council\'s Waste Services.I have a degree in Forestry and MSc in Environmental Management. I care passionately about our environment and thrive on implementing new and innovative change projects that make a real and positive difference to peoples lives.
