I’ve always been driven to succeed long before I knew what industry I’d end up in.That drive started young through sports, leadership, and being the teammate others could count on. I was often a team captain, not because I was the loudest, but because I valued accountability, preparation, and teamwork. Outside of sports, I learned early that opportunity doesn’t always knock, sometimes you have to go looking for it. One summer, that meant making a homemade flyer and walking nearby streets to find lawn-mowing work. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me initiative, work ethic, and how to earn trust face-to-face.That same mindset led me to join the volunteer fire service as soon as I was legally allowed. The fire service became a defining chapter of my life, teaching discipline, technical skill, teamwork under pressure, and the responsibility that comes with serving a community.That path eventually led me to the water utility industry.For over nine years at a municipal water authority, I worked in distribution and field operations responding to water main breaks, performing emergency shutoffs, repairing leaks, installing new water lines and services, and locating underground infrastructure. I’ve been in the ditch and on emergency calls, learning firsthand how aging systems behave under real-world conditions.Today, I’m a results-driven water utility professional focused on how field experience, technology, and data come together to make systems run smarter. I specialize in AMI and smart metering systems within Sensus FlexNet environments, using tools like RNI, Sensus Analytics, and Field Logic to trace issues from customer bills or analytics dashboards back to the physical meter or infrastructure and fix them at the root cause.Along the way, I also became a licensed Realtor®, closing seven buy/sell transactions in 2025. That experience strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and deliver results across technical and business environments.At my core, I believe every problem tells a story and I thrive on turning that story into a solution that works.
