ABOUT DAVID HODGES
After serving in the military, my focus turned back towards education. Six years of hard work awarded me two associates degrees, a bachelors, and a masters. In the last year of my masters program I was fortunate enough to work full time as a teacher and serve my community. Upon graduation, I moved to IL to support my wife as she worked towards her own masters degree. COVID was at its height and schools in the area were not hiring teachers. Altamont offered me a position based on my military mechanical and chemical experience. Unfortunately, we discovered that I was allergic to a primary chemical used in production. The CEO graciously reassigned me as the company HR Manager, a position I very much enjoyed. The experience helped me grow immensely and achieve my SHRM-CP. My wife and I have since moved to Helena, Montana! I am happy to continue serving my community in a full time support position for the Montana National Guard. While continuing my career in the field of human resources.
