David Higham

About David Higham

Since I was a child, I have been enamored with big machinery and construction projects. Family pictures show three-year-old me sitting on my toy backhoe watching \"There Goes a Bulldozer\" with my mini hardhat and sometimes even napping in that position. Odd jobs through high school sparked a love for building. After meeting a close friend of my brother\'s and seeing model house he had framed in class, I decided to declare a major in Construction Management when I applied to BYU the next fall and see if it was a good match. Being the first member of my family to join the construction industry, I consider myself a pioneer and couldn\'t feel more at home!Since beginning my studies at BYU, I have taken every opportunity to challenge myself and learn from the many talented professionals, professors, and students around me. ASC competition teams, summer internships, and student leadership in the BYU CMSA have been some of my most beneficial activities to prepare me for the being a contributing member of the industry.
