About David Herman
I am the Managing Partner of Diamond Capital Advisors an investment banking firm located in Los Angeles specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Our clients are typically privately held and family owned businesses with revenues under 200 million dollars that are interested in a total liquidity event (sale) or raising equity or mezzanine financing for a partial liquidity event or growth capital. We also assist clients in management buyouts, funding acquisitions, or preparing for an event to achieve maximum value. Our 10 Managing Directors have experience in almost every industry including specialists in food, medical, media, and technology. My role, in addition to working on transactions, is to create teams for each mandate and insure that we execute deals in the most advantageous way for our clients. My operational experience in owning two companies gives me the insight to help drive values higher and to manage our firm efficiently. I owned an auto parts manufacturing company in New Jersey and a cosmetics company in Los Angeles. I was also on the staff of three political campaigns. I am a member of the Water Buffalo Club, a children’s charity, for the past 21 years. Besides being an avid photographer, I represented the United States at the Maccabiah Games (Israel’s summer Olympics) in 2009 and won a bronze medal in tennis. I am married with two daughters and live in Los Angeles.
