As the Director of Operations at the Taylor Branch, I oversee volunteer and staff development, financial growth, and collaboration with community stakeholders. My responsibilities include managing program functions in alignment with our mission, goals, and policies set by administrative staff, governing committees, and the Board of Directors. Key Achievements and Responsibilities- Fostered high-functioning relationships with Branch Leadership Teams, ensuring strong collaborations and input for consistent, high-level programming- Developed, managed, and monitored an $8 million branch operating budget, meeting and exceeding budget targets while maintaining fiscal balance- Led a highly engaged Branch Advisory Board and committees, recruiting and developing diverse volunteers for impactful policy and program initiatives- Directed all financial development activities, co-leading major fundraising campaigns with combined goals of $1 million dollars, including capital development initiatives- Supervised and appraised branch leadership staff, providing development opportunities and establishing performance standards- Provided oversight and leadership to a team of 21 full-time and 300 part-time staff members serving the greater Cary, NC area- Demonstrated strong relationship-building skills, fostering collaborative partnerships with community organizations and representing the YMCA in local and surrounding communities- Contributed as a key member of the YMCA leadership team, supporting overall Association objectives and strategic initiatives.
