Responsibilities include:Oversee integrated business management system.Deliver legal and accreditation compliance with ISO9001, 14001 & 45001.Implement health and safety system (H&S) to achieve Optyma aims, meet legal requirements, ACOP and accreditation standards.Implement changes in health and safety legislation, practice or equipment that affect Optyma’s work.Create, develop and implement health & safety policies, organisation and arrangements.Promote H&S behavior to create a safe working culture.Safety planning - Including goal setting, setting & monitoring KPI.Assess, priorities and mitigate organizational HOT.Investigate/report/act on accident investigations and near misses;Conduct sufficient H&S site and safety inspections.Complete site risk assessments and oversee those written by others.Carry out system audits, present data and implement continual improvements.Assist review of all management systems, advising SLT of SWOT. Maintain safe workplace, plant, equipment and vehicles.Ensure safety communication and consultation with employees.Deliver internal Health & safety tool box talks and training.Arrange and contact for third party audits.Act as point of contact for external bodies on QSHE issues.Prepare information and presents to MRM when required.Ensure Optyma’s accreditations are kept current, such as Achilles RISQS, Safe Contractor, CHAS, Cyber Security Plus and Construction line. Fleet responsible person - Road Risk, Emissions & Counter Terrorism Champion. Deputy to Sentinel Scheme Co-Ordinator.
