ABOUT DAVID HANSOM

A partner in Hogan Lovells LLP based in London, I lead in public procurement and government contracts working with clients across the world. With over 20 years\' experience in commercial, trade and public law, I advise clients across various sectors, infrastructure asset classes and regions. I have particular experience in defence, energy transition, education and infrastructure. My work spans procurement regulatory compliance, supply chain management and strategy, and bid protests/procurement challenges. I have been involved in the procurement aspects of some of the largest and most complex projects in the UK, EU and MENA markets including London 2012. My team has a commercial law background and looks at risk from the client\'s perspective, using innovative and practical solutions to streamline and de-risk purchasing activity. I have extensive knowledge of public law, EU state aid, UK subsidy control and grant funding issues, as well as global supply chain regulatory compliance and ESG matters. I speak French (C2) and German (B2).
