About David Phillips

Hi. It’s great to meet you. I believe in you and your potential for positive impact in our chaotic world.I founded Panorama Advisors in 2020 after 15 years as a strategy consultant, management consultant, and chief of staff in the business and social sectors. My goal was to help social sector organizations make an impact via strategic planning, team development, board governance, and system-wide partnerships (i.e, collective impact). But something was missing: strategy, governance, and other “technical” elements proved necessary but not sufficient. Instead, my most important contributions often came from helping clients be better leaders. Mimicking my own leadership coach, I would listen to my clients, hold space, be a guide, and help them slow down. The results were transformative. So, in 2021, I added leadership coaching as a stand-alone service and began my journey to become the best coach I could be.After working with 30+ social impact clients and 40+ business and nonprofit coaching clients, I relaunched Panorama Advisors in 2025.
