Author of works on advising and retention in higher education as well as scholarly works on education law, I am passionate about all of higher education. I am a problem solver - whether for the individual situation a student finds her or himself in at any moment in time or toward larger issues of strategic thinking in higher education. My greatest thrill is found in helping a faculty member secure funding for a project that is important to that person, or reading an article or book that one of my colleagues has just completed. I do my best to help students work through their thoughts about the future and their place in work and community.
