January 2022 – PresentAssigned to Sr. Project Manager role in Amtrak’s IT Digital Technologies & Innovation Services Group. Responsible for managing the design and implementation of CCTV/VSS (Video Surveillance Systems), and Access Control Systems (ACS), throughout a nation-wide network of passenger stations, maintenance yards & facilities, bridges & tunnels, and most other Amtrak properties, rights-of-ways, and operating facilities. Worked closely with cross-functional internal teams such as networking, infosec, computing, and storage. Primary hardware & software products deployed were Genetec and Securitas enterprise servers, and Axis and Sony Video camera end-units. Also worked very closely with Amtrak Corporate Security and Amtrak Police Dept. to develop systems requirements and implementation and acceptance processes. This team was closely monitored and audited by the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security,(DHS), and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), a branch of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation. I managed these projects throughout the entire project lifecycle from initiation to project close.
